A furniture factory audit in Vietnam is an on-site evaluation of a manufacturer’s real production capacity, quality-management system, equipment and social-compliance status. FurnitureQC has audited 200+ factories across Binh Duong, Dong Nai and HCMC and reports findings against recognized frameworks (ISO 9001, BSCI, SA8000) so you can qualify or reject a supplier with evidence rather than a glossy catalog.
Why audit before you order
Most quality disasters are decided before production starts — when an importer places a large order with a factory that lacks the capacity, equipment or systems to deliver it. A pre-order factory audit replaces the supplier's self-description with verified, photographed facts from the floor.
What the audit assesses
- Production capacity — line count, monthly output, current order book, and ability to hit your volume and ship date.
- Quality management system — incoming-material control, in-process QC, final QC, ISO 9001 status, defect-handling records.
- Equipment & facility — kilns and drying capacity, CNC and finishing lines, spray booths, warehousing.
- Social compliance — labor, wages, hours, health & safety and building safety against BSCI / SA8000 expectations.
- Certifications — FSC chain-of-custody, CARB/EPA TSCA Title VI, and any retailer-mandated programs.
- Sub-contracting risk — whether work is quietly pushed to unaudited third-party workshops.

Your audit report
You receive a scored English report with a section-by-section rating, photographic evidence, identified risks, and a clear recommendation: approved, approved-with-conditions, or not recommended. For conditional suppliers we list the specific corrective actions to require before production.
