A container loading supervision (CLS) in Vietnam is an on-site check carried out while your furniture is loaded into the container. The FurnitureQC inspector verifies the quantity and carton count, confirms the goods match approved samples, checks carton condition and the load plan, photographs the process, and records the container and seal numbers — preventing short shipments, wrong product and avoidable transit damage.
What we supervise during loading
- Quantity & carton count — reconcile loaded cartons against the packing list and PO.
- Product confirmation — spot-check that loaded cartons contain the correct, approved SKUs.
- Carton & packaging condition — ISTA 1A/3A-style checks for crushed, wet or damaged cartons before they go in.
- Load plan & stowage — stacking and bracing to minimize shifting and crush damage at sea.
- Container condition — clean, dry, hole-free unit with sound doors and floor.
- Seal documentation — record container number and seal number with time-stamped photos.
Why it matters for furniture
Furniture is bulky, mixed-SKU and easily damaged in transit. Loading supervision is the cheapest insurance against the two most common post-shipment disputes: a count that does not match the invoice, and arrival damage caused by poor stowage. It is frequently combined with a pre-shipment inspection on the same day.
